These are a few of the plants looking outstanding in the garden Mid May. The sun has finally started to shine however it is still bitterly cold - wearing a fleece when working outside. Some such as the tree Paeonia - Garden Treasure are flowering for the first time. I have just cut it back as it is still only a single stem so that will hopefully encourage it to bush out a bit more next year. Love the Dactylorhiza (spotted marsh orchid) which is starting to establish itself after having bought it 3 years ago. Enjoy your garden
