Welcome Page
My website as you can see from the navigation bar at the top of this screen consists of a series of different pages each with a specific topic. It is very much a work in progress - as most websites should be anyway. Compared with some sites it is not that sophisticated in its layout but hopefully everything on it should function correctly and be easy to understand.
I hope over time to increase the content of each section and in some cases such as the Events/Club pages this is very much dependent on your input. Please use the contact forms on the contact page to keep me updated about Events and Club info. Make sure you let me know of any changes in either.
Unlike some web sites I have no sponsorship so, the opinions and thoughts expressed on my site are very much my own.
Whether the site lasts much beyond the end of 2025, depends on people visiting the site, finding it useful, informative, and telling friends, family and colleagues to visit whenever they can.
Thank you for visiting and most of all - enjoy your garden whether it is large or small, a container garden or maybe even an allotment.
Ayr Music Club
This might seem like a strange heading for a garden website welcome page however, whilst creating this website I was at the same time creating a website for Ayr Music Club based in the town of Ayr in Ayrshire, Scotland. I have been a member for some years now and it was suggested that I should have a shot at trying to create a new website for the Club - so here it is at www.ayrmusciclub.co.uk and like my own website it is functional and appears to work. The Club is this year celebrating 70 years of providing first class chamber music to audiences in and around the county town of Ayr. The first concert is a performance by brilliant pianist - Sarah Beth Briggs - and Doug the Gardener has sponsored this concert. Find out more about the music club by hitting the button below to go their website, and if you can, come and join us for some first class performances of brilliant classical music.
