Logan Botanic Garden April 2026

This  was a visit to one of my favourite gardens situated on the Mull of Galloway in South West Scotland.    It is one our 4 Botanic official botanic gardens in Scotland and is influenced by The Gulf Stream which flows from the Gulf of Mexico in the USA across the Atlantic to warm the seas off the West coast of Scotland.   The temparate climate means that normally tender plants in Scotland can be grown easily in these gardens.    Many of the plants are from South America and Africa although to be honest there are plants from all over the world.    Being a botanic garden means that nearly all plants are named correctly as you can see from my pics.    Enjoy, and remember to let me know whether you like my blogs or not.    Feedback both positive and negative is always welcome.   Happy gardening!
