This is Iris ensata Ice Cream one of the dinner plate Irises. Ours is about 1 metre high and the flower on the left hand side of the photo is 19cm across. Doesn't flower for a very long period but quite spectacular when it does. Flowers late June - early July. Tough and hardy!
