Benmore Botanic Gardens, Argyll, Scotland

Benmore Botanic Gardens edit

This was a visit to Benmore Botanic Gardens - one of Scotlands 4 Botanic Gardens on a Friday in late April.    The purpose of the visit was to take a guided group tour around the Chilean section of the gardens followed by a talk by Martin Gardner on the work he was doing in Chile to try and save some of the many endangered endemic species.   To complete the very enjoyable day the group were treated to some Chilean food and a Pisco Sour ( or a soft drink if you preferred).  Probably one of my favourite cocktails - discovered when touring Peru some years back.
